A Shredder pump saves the need & expense of buying & installing a communitor.
Why a Shredder Pump and not a grinder pump?
Grinder pumps are great if you are pumping soft sewage type solids into a
pressured sewer, have small diameter pipe or have high head requirements.
A grinder pump is not designed to pump harder solids such as
aluminum cans, bottle caps, plastic containers, bones, etc.
